I know I say this every week, but as we get closer and closer to “P” (Publication) Day, my life gets more and more exciting. I am so grateful that technology lets me share it all with you.

Sunday saw me kicking off “52 Days of Thanks.” In the 52 days leading up to my book’s birthday I wanted to show my gratitude to each of the contributors. If you have joined me on Facebook – and I do hope you have – you may have noticed the Thank You memes I am posting daily. You can have another look at them below, along with a selection of this week’s photos from the terrace. In fact, the photos you see are the ACTUAL ones from the book. I don’t want to leave anyone out so I have to have a system, right? I’m thanking my lovely contributors in alphabetical order and having a name beginning with a letter at the end of the alphabet makes me nervous I might be left out. I’d like to reassure everyone, from Melissa Applegate to Pat Williams, your day will come!

The weather has been damp with a covering of gray cloud here in my little corner of Florida. There may be few shots of sunshine but the clouds and diffused light brought it’s own magic, don’t you think?
